Kids fair , cacti boy, and poo girl

so this last saturday was may the 9th 2009 and it was a full fun day for the family. C.j. and I got up at 7:00 am and decided to go for a coffee date at our favorite local coffee shop. newly opened and we are thankful. then we came home and got the other kids and daddy ready for a day of great fun. Daddy had to go to the library and do some work for Grammy so we went and picked up grammie first then we headed off to the library where she is the head librarian. Daddy got started and so did we. the first thing we did is a germ station they showed the boys and girl just how many germs are on your hands and then it was off to wash and see if we could get them off. great job guys. Daddy finished up and Grammy, daddy, mom, and the kids were off for more fun we went to the police men who gave each boy a well fitted new bike helmet, braclets, and coloring books. then we went by a car that had been wrapped around a telephone pole when a teenage drunk driver had been driving very bad. next was the water policeman boy was he a hit and he just loved the boys enthusiasm. Boo Boo danced with a large pineapple. and then we went back to the library and had our faces painted, looked through a cool board, played some games, ate snow cones, and got more bracelets and coloring books. Next we went to a local clothing store and picked out a beautiful dress for Grammy she looked stunning in it. then it was off to home for lunch and to get ready for the parade. We went to the parade at 1:00 and had a blast the helmet sighn is the one we were behind. at the end we even got to watch the rest of the parade since we were leading. Hay do you know the difference between a city parade and a small town parade 1 is when you see tractors as a main attraction and not for picking up poo the other is when the medic on an ambulance can call you by name. After the parade it was back to the coffee shop to have italian sodas and visit with friends. wooooooo is it bed time yet but no there is more to this day imposssible you say no it is not. On the way home I wanted to go show grammy my pics and see how they did so daddy took the kids. when I was almost to the library I got a call on my cell from a panicked dad saying C.J. had fallen into the cacti at grammies house so I sprinted to the house and found my eldest boy covered with stickers and in agony we got him home and started the teadeous task of removing the stickers from his body then we gave him some benadryl and soaked him in a tub of epsom salt. so he was feeling much better. At this point I went to the library to talk to Mom and tell her what had transpired after being horrofied we looked up the cacti plants and decided he would be fine without calling the doctor so once again I headed home where my husband was waiting for me quite anxiously. I come in to find my daughter bootsie standing in the middle of the kitchen with no clothes on and coved with what seemed to be chocolate lets just say it was NOT. with my poor bleach loving husband freaking out I quickly started taking care of the situation needless to say 2 gallons of bleach and water later the mess was cleaned up and all children were happy once again. then I went to work. No nothing else happened this day thank You Lord for your grace which is sufficient for me and for carrring me through days like this.
